The God Who Aligns and Speaks

This issue of YukanFaith Magazine centers on divine alignment—how God moves in our lives, even when we can’t see it, and how hearing His voice often begins with being rooted in who He is and who He says we are.
As I spoke with each person featured this month, I found myself reflecting on the ways God has shown up in my own life—sometimes loudly, but often quietly, gently nudging, guiding, and aligning. From Kier Hopkins-Smith, who shares how God literally saved his life when he was ready to end it, to Dr. Sarita Lyons, whose journey from searching to shepherding now makes her a voice for every church girl who needs to know she belongs in the Bible and the story of the Church—God’s fingerprints are everywhere.

Pastor Jay’s story reminds us that divine alignment often begins when we stop chasing what the world says life should look like, and start responding to what God is saying. Reggie Kee shares how God gave him his first poem, and the words haven’t stopped flowing since. Lorra Brown reminds us that God speaks even in trial, even in the pain—and that healing often reveals purpose.
You see, the same God who moved in the lives of Abraham, Ruth, David, and Esther is still moving. Still speaking. Still aligning. The God who worked through generations in the Bible is working through us right now. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

I pray that as you read this issue, you are blessed, motivated, inspired, and equipped and reminded that your life, too, is being divinely aligned.
